I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph stands for DMS Graphics again this year. A long time friend and contact from the company arranges a number of the stands for exhibitors at the Kent 20/20, Detling Showground and I was happy to oblige with the photography as it helps to introduce me to businesses supporting the exhibition. The idea being that perhaps they require commercial photography themselves for the business.
I bumped into a number of other long term contacts at the event too. It was particularly pleasant to see and chat to Sarah Poole, who has recently taken on the Westenhanger Castle at Hythe. I hope to visit soon and grab some images of the venue and publish them here as part of my occasional blog series on Kent wedding venues. Another good contact of mine, Jules Serkin, was busy with her radio mic at the show. Jules rules a PR business and also a radio show discussing food and drink, Scoff and Quaff Radio Show. You can listen in any time you like to the show as it features on internet radio station, Channel Radio. Jules and I discovered we’d both been stung for money on an event we both attended as suppliers last year. We may be contacting others that have also been caught by a Sevenoaks businessman, chased through the courts in the past for not paying suppliers. Anyway; enough of that!
