More Details

I’ll discuss with you what type of portrait photography session you want, at your convenience, either a week or so before the session or just before the session itself. There are no hard or fast rules as to how your portrait photography session runs – the idea is to try different things and poses, with or without props – items that you would like to pose with to reflect your passions or interests. I can photograph you in your home setting in any suitable room, with you surrounded with your things. Alternatively, you can choose to have your photo portraits against our backdrop system.

Background System
My home photography studio comprises a professional background kit up to three metres wide that uses either a white background for high key images (very light photos that can be in colour or black and white) or a black background for low key (dark, moody images with heavy shadows) These are perfect neutral ‘canvases’ for your portrait photographs. As well as the backdrops, I’ll use up to two professional studio strobe lights (like large flash guns) and an on-camera flash gun to create perfect, consistent lighting conditions for your final pictures.

Session Length
The home portrait photography session includes the use of either backdrop, multiple shots for head and shoulders, three quarter length or full length portraits with either a single person, a couple or small family group. The session usually lasts between 70 and 85 minutes, including the set up and breakdown time, with a minimum of 60 minutes devoted to your portraits. Typically, you will have a choice of around 25 to 50 photos (depending on the number of people). Access to the images is around 7 to 10 working days following the session.

Viewing Your Photos
I will contact you once your session images are live on my gallery and then you can access the images on a secure, password protected (if required – please tell us) website gallery run by me. You can see the gallery here.

Safe Transactions For Peace Of Mind
And it’s totally safe too: The gallery uses a professional, fully secure payment system – I never see your credit card details. Pass the gallery details on to your friends and family, so they can share in the fun of viewing the pictures and purchase online, no matter where in the world they live.

Other Options
All your photographs are available in a variety of print sizes, or as posters, beautiful large format canvases, or stylish acrylic panels.

If you are looking for presents or gifts for birthdays, Christmas or similar events, contact us, as we can offer your images printed onto a range of media such as T-shirts, key-rings, paperweights, coasters and place-mats.

Another way to view your pictures if you would like multiple shots is as a photobook. Prices depend on number of photos, pages in the book, size and finish. You can discuss details with me after the session or contact me after if that is more convenient.

Psst! Looking for a lower priced package? How about our mini session for £139? Same professional service for 50 minutes AND STILL INCLUDES FIVE FULL RESOLUTION DIGITAL IMAGES! Call now and book your session today.
