It’s wonderful when an organisation you are proud to support gives you support in return. Dartford Valley Rugby Football Club has named the tables for its black tie ball this year with one dedicated to Dartford photographer, Bresser Photography & Digital Media.
I’ve been involved with the club for a little while now supporting the last three and a half seasons with photography services at matches and special events. It has always had the advantage of featuring the business on the club’s website as well as helping build relationships with individual club members – a fantastic group of guys! This past season has seen a huge upsurge in the club’s visibility in the Dartford area with new training sessions for women as well as a regular Sunday morning session for children sponsored by local businesses and aligned with local charity Ellenors.
This has helped show the local community the importance of the club for the North West Kent area, consequently allowing it to grow further connections to the local council. With sponsorship from businesses as well as the council, the club has plan for a permanent clubhouse, pitch and other facilities in the area – the only rugby club to play and be based in Dartford.
The Oval Ball on 25th July will be the biggest event in the club’s recent history, filling the Dartford hotel where it is being hosted. Stay tuned for some photos of the event appearing here, on Facebook and on the club’s site over the next few days.
